Due to this prolonged hot weather the bluebells are virtually over for this year, but you can still enjoy a quiet and peaceful walk in Bluebell Wood and of course the various Farm Trails until Sunday when we finally close for the year.

Still a haze of blue throughout our 23 acre Bluebell Wood.  In places bluebells make a vibrant blue carpet complete with their unique scent.

The bluebells that came out early are now begining to droop, yet in other places some are still emerging!  The fragrance is still there and with the peace and tranquility, makes it a stunning place to see a

23 acre carpet of blue.

Amazing how quickly the bluebells are emerging and replacing white wood anemones, due to this prolonged hot sunny weather.  It all looks stunning, a blue carpet enhanced with sunshine shining through the trees.

This continuing hot weather is making the bluebells grow quickly.  In the sunny areas of the Bluebell Wood they are almost fully out.  White wood anemones soon will be over, to then be replaced by a carpet of blue.

The Bluebell Wood looks so fresh and green with everything bursting forth.  Bluebells in the sunny patches are coming up among the profusion of white wood anemones, all looking so promising for opening this Sat.

Sunday we closed but as the bluebells still look so good, we have left the Bluebell Wood open until the Bank Holiday. The Farm Trails are closed and no refreshments.

Bluebells are now out in their full glory, with their unique fragrance and vistas of blue as far as the eye can see. Final chance to see them in 2010!

Bluebells are now at long last out in their full glory. The weather is finally getting warmer just in time, as we close on Sunday 23 May!
