When walking round an ancient oak wood I am always aware that it has its own unique peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The bluebells under the tree canopies are certainly losing their colour as they set seed, but in the many places without dense tree cover, the bluebells continue to look vibrant and colourful.

Missed the Bluebell Woods again/Briony McCarthy
I am hurting badly beyond words that I have missed the Bluebell Woods again this year. My Beloved Soulmate Late Mother, Sara rests here and we used to come here when I was a child and adult. I have been going through extremely traumatic times for some time. I had hoped to be able to donate a mobility scooter in memory of my Mother but I have dire circumstances. I hope I can try to still make a visit.
