As you approach Beatons Wood one sees a shade of blue from the emerging bluebells. The front of the wood faces South and thus catches the sun, so the bluebells here are quickly emerging. As you walk through this wood, which is undulating, with the latter half facing North, means the white wood anemones still predominate. The paths in the wood are now quite dry, but the Farm Trails are still extremely muddy.
