The garden has been looking fantastic this year, as this montage of photos shows.
Although August has been wetter than usual, experts are predicting that this will lead to a fabulous early display of autumn colours due to sunny spells in spring and now in September.
At the moment, the Cyclamen hederifolium are lighting up the woodland floor under our oak trees.
The Persicaria amplexicaulis look stunning in the middle garden.
Visiting a garden at this time of year can bring a wonderful sense of wellbeing. With the days already getting shorter now is the time to make the most of nature, especially as we never know if our freedom may be put on hold again due to a changing pandemic landscape.
