It is amazing how quickly the bluebells bowed down by the torrential rain on Monday, have recovered, especially in the North half of Beatons Wood. The bluebells are now coming to the end of their flowering cycle, so the intense blue swathes are now light blue. Enjoy the special atmosphere only found in and ancient oak wood, listen to the bird song, as we do not now get the crowds we had earlier. The yellow iris round the Lower Pond are now in flower, so enjoy.
