Last week Beatons Wood was filled with the white wood anemones and just a few bluebells here and there. This warm weather is bringing the bluebells forward very quickly, especially in the areas that catch the sun. I always walk round the Wood on a daily basis, so can’t fail to notice how quickly more bluebells are emerging. The appearance of bluebells is due to the soil temperature slowly warming, so if this current weather continues then the bluebells will respond!
